Yeru has a duty to the loa, but he prefers to work with others and has few options in where or, rather, who he can go to.
Describe your character's past. Where did they grow up? How did they learn their trade? What kind of work history do they have? Whatever you think is relevant to who they are – but aim for at least 3 full lines.:
After abandoning their home in the Darkspear Islands; escaping the Sea Witch with Thrall and the Horde; and losing their new home on the Echo Islands to Zalazane, the Shadow Hunter, Yeru, yearned to explore this strange, new world the orcs had lead them to, but felt obligated to the protection of his tribe.
Despite the Horde’s requests for the Darkspear to relinquish their darker, more savage ways, Yeru continued some of these practices earning an ever-growing distrust from the evolving tribe. However, they tolerated his presence.
When the time to retake the Echo Isles came, Yeru leapt at the chance to prove himself. He fought virulently through Zalazane’s minions – thrilled at the bloodshed and to be doing service to his tribe, but his pride was soon shattered as Vol’jin beseeched Bwonsamdi for his aid in the Darkspear’s campaign.
Yeru was mortified; he was so dedicated to his tribe and yet had all but forgotten their patron loa.
Instilled with a new vigour, Yeru fought even harder. He began employing dark voodoo, becoming more and more reckless as his bloodlust overtook him, but eventually, one of his spells hit another young troll within the fray; killing her outright.
Ashamed of the failure in his duty, he exiled himself vowing not to return until the Darkspear tribe truly needed him.
Tell us about your character's skillset. What can they do that would be valuable to a mercenary company?:
Yeru is an excellent tracker, a dangerous combatant – he is particularly handy with a bow – and a voodoo practitioner.
What are your character's feelings regarding the other Horde races?:
Whilst often taking a neutral stance in regards to the Horde/Alliance conflict, he has a great deal of respect for the other members of the Horde – the Forsaken a little less so, however.
Old enemies, old loyalties - does your character have them? Who with?:
He is loyal to the loa, his allies and the Darkspear tribe.
Finally, write a quick paragraph, describing your character doing something typical to them. (This is to help us get a feel for how you play, so make it something you might type in RP.):
Yeru wears a wicked grin as he holds his nose over the crockpot. He runs his tongue over his teeth as he lifts the lid, allowing his face to become engulfed by the steam. Two rather surprised looking heads stare vacantly at him as they bob about in the viscous, blue-black liquid.
Yeru sends them a nod of greeting. “Alright?” He takes a knife and his grin intensifies as he runs the edge along his palm. Setting the knife down, he holds his cut hand over the pot and clenches it into a tight fist; squeezing out the blood. As the first drop hits the water, the ‘gumbo’ becomes a dark red and the heads sink to the bottom of the pot.
He scoops up a sample with his finger and plops it into his mouth. His face contorts a little and he shakes his head violently, reeling from the taste. “Strong! … Needs a little seasonin’.”

I am looking for a mature, friendly RP guild which is appropriate for this character. Have had the Blackguard suggested to me and have heard good things about you lot, so here I am!
Tell us a bit about yourself. Hobbies, job, talents, accomplishments, whatever you're comfortable sharing.:
Nineteen years-old; musician and fine artist; studying media, music technology and fine art in college. I enjoy fishing, cycling, pina coladas and getting caught in the rain.
Tell us about your background in roleplay.:
Only experience of RP is within WoW; started in Cataclysm on Steamwheedle Cartel and have only recently moved to here Argent Dawn.
